PANTRY AND COOKING:
We love to cook so you’ll find essentials in the kitchen pantry such as salt, pepper, olive oil, etc. We also have a Kenwood Chef that you are welcome to use.
We are lucky to be surrounded by beautiful beaches with something for everyone: Middleton Beach (great for surfing) – 5 min walk, Basham’s Beach (great rock pools for the kids, this is our kids favourite beach!) – 5 min drive, Horseshoe Bay (picturesque setting) – 7 min drive.
Watch whales from the balcony or wander down to Middleton point or Basham’s beach for a closer look. Encounter Bay is also a popular whale watching area. The season runs from May to early October, with the best time being July and August.
Blues – Middleton (fine dining), Flying Fish – Horseshoe Bay (fish and chips), Pi Pi – Middleton (eclectic lunch), Port Elliot Bakery – Port Elliot (pies and cakes, our favourite is the mince and potato pie), Cockles – Port Elliot (lunch or dinner – their fried haloumi starter is fantastic) || The Port Elliot chicken shop (chicken and chips – they do awesome chips)
