Southern Surf Festival @ Middleton Point, Middleton SA
Apr 26 – Apr 28 all-day

The 2019 Southern Surf Festival is a three-day celebration of South Australian surfing and surf competition. Held at Middleton Point on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula. The festival will feature over 200 competitors vying for State Championship status in shortboard, longboard, standup and kneeboard surfing along with an inter club twin-fin and single-fin event. There will be music, food trucks, local wine, beer and much more. Supported by Alexandrina Council, the event is expected to attract thousands of visitors and attendees and hundreds of overnight stays on the famed South Coast surf mecca.

Wooden Boat Festival @ Goolwa Wharf Precinct

Celebrating South Australia’s rich maritime history and boat builders past and present, wooden craft of all shapes, size and age will gather at the River Port of Goolwa for the South Australian Wooden Boat Festival. The biennial, two day Festival has plenty to see and do with an exciting mix of both on water and land based activities
