Most of us are familiar with the old Christmas folk song, the 12 Days of Christmas. When the song was originally written, it has a very serious purpose and historically, the 12 days of Christmas actually begins on Christmas Day, the 25th of December. However, let’s face it, by then most of us are eager to take the Christmas tree down and start planning our NYE party, right? Also, chances are, the strange gifts in “The Twelve Days of Christmas” are not high on anyone’s Christmas list this year. So, although our version of the 12 days of Christmas is not historically accurate, it’s the Pet Let version to help you celebrate this festive season here on the Southern Fleurieu!
