Meet The Surf Shack, your laid-back little beach retreat just a stroll from the sand. This honest, character-filled cottage sits in a quiet Aldinga Beach street. Just look for the surfboard. Out the back you will find a big open grassed area made for exactly the kind of holiday you have been daydreaming about. Spend your days chasing waves and building sandcastles, then come home and gather around the fire pit with a wine and your favourite people as the sun goes down.
You are just a ten-minute walk from the famous Silver Sands Beach, one of the few beaches where you can drive your car straight onto the sand and set up for the day. It is a brilliant jump-off spot for swimming, surfing, fishing, and long beach walks. When you feel like exploring, the scenic trails of the Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park are close by, Aldinga’s shops and cafes are about eight minutes’ drive, the excellent Pearl restaurant is only five minutes away, and the world-class cellar doors of McLaren Vale are a short fifteen-minute drive up the road.
Inside, the cosy living room is made for winding down, with a comfortable lounge, a Smart TV loaded with Netflix and Stan, and a record player and vinyl collection for setting the mood on a slow afternoon. Free high-speed NBN Wi-Fi runs throughout, so you can stay connected or happily switch off.
The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a holiday feast, with an electric oven and cooktop, a microwave, and all the coffee options you could want including a pod machine and two traditional Italian espresso mocha pots, plus a kettle, a toaster, and an ice maker for those afternoon drinks.
For year-round comfort, the cottage has two reverse-cycle split-system air conditioners, ceiling fans in both bedrooms, and a cosy electric blanket in the main bedroom for those cooler coastal nights.
The backyard is the heart of this place. A generous deck is set up for outdoor dining and lounging in the shade of the market umbrella, with a gas BBQ ready for a casual dinner. Just bring your own firewood for the fire pit. There is undercover parking for one car, plus driveway room for three more and easy on-street parking on this quiet street.

Like all Pet Let properties, The Surf Shack is 100% pet friendly, and all your well-behaved pets are welcome inside. The backyard is fully enclosed with secure Colorbond fencing and no gaps for small dogs, plus a secure gate through from the carport, so your furry companions can play safely outdoors while you relax.
