School Holiday Fun July 8th – 23rd 2017
Ahhh… School Holidays. They are almost upon us [cringe]. Just kidding! We parents’ love nothing more than spending quality time with our offspring! Two fabulous weeks of fun, games, bonding and laughter, right? Well that’s the plan but it doesn’t always workthat way and sometimes we find ourselves tearing our hair out or wanting to crawl under the nearest rock until it is all over… or both! The multitude of electronic gadgets in our homes can take the edge off but then we are faced with the dreaded guilt of resorting to the digital babysitter.
You can be the most organised parent around, with a list of things to do and places to go during the school holidays, but let’s face it, the kids usually have a whole lot more energy than us and if you’re like me, it is nice to have some time out occasionally while they continue burning energy. So, where am I heading with this?
Well, whether you’re a local or just spending the holidays in Victor Harbor. We have the answer to this dilemma! Victor Harbor has a tonne of school holiday activities for kids of all ages, some free and some cheap but they will entertain,teach, stimulate the imagination, get those minds thinking and bring out the creative side of your youngsters, all without looking at a tablet or phone screen!
